Oregon Family Support Network is hiring a part time (20 hours per week), Regional Family Support Specialist to work in South/Southwestern Oregon. The Regional Family Support Specialist is a peer with lived experience who works with families raising a child with developmental, emotional, behavioral or other mental health challenges. The primary role is to organize, engage and facilitate parents attending support groups and to recruit and support volunteer family members/parents to lead family support groups in local communities. The Regional Family Support Specialist uses community contacts and resources to increase awareness of OFSN and maximize parent/caregiver voice, choice and engagement in systems of care and policy making committees and councils.
